Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Show 2011
10 January 2012
The winter blues were well and truly kicked into touch at the first major event of the classic bike show season. Launched for the very first time and held at Newark Showground over the weekend of January 7-8 – The Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Show proved an enormous success. With 10,000 visitors through the gates, classic bikes galore and hundreds of trade stalls and dealers, the brand new show was the first of what will now become an annual event... and goes to prove just how strong the classic biking movement is.Mid lincs VMCC boxing day run
26 December 2011.
The great and the good of the Mid Lincs VMCC gathered en masse in Market Rasen market square, on Boxing Dya 26 December, for the annual meet up and ride out. However, a good stretch of mild and reasonably dry weather brought riders and spectators out by the dozen. There were some super machines on show, both original unrestored jobs and immaculate restorations, classic sportsters, winter hacks, three wheelers, combinations and the odd fairly modern bike too. After an hour or so's chin-wag, it was off westward to the Beckett Arms, at Corringham, just outside Gainsborough, for a warming brew.Wolds Run 2011
