60s Eppynt Sprint
By: Web Editor
I wonder if any of these photographs would be of interest to your readers. They were taken on the Eppynt Mountain road, not far from Brecon.
The year was either 1968 or 1969, when they used have sprints a couple of times a year. I used to ride my BSA Barracuda up there – I ride a Honda Blackbird these days.
Incidentally, in the archive images (February issue) the rider doing the jump is not actually over the line of riders he’s jumping to the right of them.
I subscribe to the magazine and thoroughly enjoy the contents, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
