The VMCC Ltd is delighted to announce the 64th Banbury Run will be held at the Motor Heritage Centre, Gaydon, Warks, on Sunday, June 17, 2012.

Sponsored by Footman James Insurance, Bonhams auctioneers and Old Bike Mart the 64th run will be a familiar format, but with new routes and checkpoints. With 600 entrants, the Banbury Run is the world's biggest run for machines manufactured before 1931.

Discounted entry fees will be available for veteran machines (manufactured prior to January 1, 1915) to encourage more of the oldest bikes to enter.

All 600 places will sell out before the closing date of February 28, 2012, so it’s important that forms, available from VMCC HQ on 03/01/12, are returned as quickly as possible.

For an all inclusive price of £7 spectators can not only enjoy the day’s event and park for free but also get free entry into the Motor Heritage Museum.

Parking is close by the main entrance which allows autojumblers to carry their purchases to their vehicles without too much of a hike!

Run in conjunction with the event Bonhams is having a sale of pioneer, veteran and vintage motorcycles the day before the run, on Saturday, July 16, 2012. The venue for the auction will be Bonhams Saleroom at Banbury Rd, Shipton on Cherwell, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1JH.

Supported by Old Bike Mart, the Banbury Run autojumble is always a favourite as one of the best sources of veteran and vintage motorcycle spares. If you are interested in a pitch please email members@vmcc.net

There is also space for club displays, so the VMCC welcomes applications from clubs, both big and small, who would like to have a presence. Please contact Sam Brown sambrown@vmcc.net for more details.

The event's official hotel partner will be the 4 Star Barcelo Walton Hall Hotel, just six miles from the Motor Heritage Centre. Special room rates can be obtained by calling the hotel directly on 01455 898582 quoting VMCC”.

The dedicated event website is www.banbury-run.co.uk  which not only has all the latest event information, but also has all the entry forms etc to download in a PDF format as from January 3, 2012.
