Long the obligatory gear for all year round riders and trials men, the waxed cotton Trialmaster is still available via Holden Vintage and Classic.

New Belstaff Trialmaster from Holden Vintage and Classic.

It’s a very nicely put together garment with a plush tartan lining and the traditional press stud fixings. There’s a sturdy, double ended, full length brass zipper with an overlap held in place by press studs. Deep pockets are both sides on hip and breast, with a small Velcro flapped pocket on the left arm.

Inside there’s a zipped pocket for your wallet and the raised collar has a soft corduroy lining so there’s no chafing, it also fastens together to keep out the rain by means of a mini belt arrangement. The quilted shoulders have internal pockets for the included soft body armour, likewise the elbows. The waist has a belt too. There’s even an included packet of spare press studs and a nylon over-jacket for extremes of weather.

Available in both black and brown, it is very soft and very comfortable and retails at £412.50 plus £82.50 VAT. Postage and packing is included to all UK addresses.
