Improvements...

I write to say what an enjoyable and much improved magazine Classic Bike Guide has become recently. The Commando article was very good indeed.
You took a question that most classic motorcycle riders and enthusiasts are asking themselves – how does the new compare with the old? Maybe some more along these lines? The Meriden and Hinckley Triumphs are an obvious example, likewise the Ducati Sport Classics come to mind.
I thought that the ‘Meriden at the Movies’ article was really interesting. I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who finds the historical connections between the motorcycle, industrial design and mass culture fascinating.
I’d also like to see more marque histories; something substantial on the likes of Montgomery and McEvoy perhaps and maybe a more extensive coverage of the motorcycles and the people at festivals like the Manx GP and the VMCC’s 1000 Bikes?
Might I suggest also a simpler and rather less fussy look to the design and layout? Thanks again for a fascinating and enjoyable magazine.

Ed Note – Thank you for your kind words Graham. We have to be careful not to tread too heavily on the toes of our other magazines, the McEvoy and Montgomery for example is the territory of The Classic MotorCycle and the Manx GP more Classic Racer etc.
