More than 600 motorcyclists from far and wide turned out for the sun kissed but rather blustery CBG backed Lincs Aviation Heritage Wolds Run, on Saturday 30 April, at the Panton Brothers' fantastic Aviation Heritage Centre, at East Kirkby, Lincs.

Obviously intending to make a day of it, riders began rolling in by 9am and an hour later the place was packed, with a great mix of classics and modern machines, all of whom had come along to help the Lincs-Notts Air Ambulance - 0ver £4000 was raised - and thrill to the sight of resident Lancaster Just Jane. There were two taxi runs where the mighty Merlins were run up and the bomber cantered around the airstrip, both greatly appreciated by one and all – especially the lucky few whose raffle tickets won them a ride.

The run was comfortable at around 40 miles of quiet Wolds roads, with a half way stop at the Green Man PH, at Scamblesby, before returning to the airfield for a cuppa, a chat and a delicious local Ostrich burger!

The judges had a difficult time sorting the plethora of superb machines, but here are their results:
