Accurate tyre pressure is crucial for any motorcycle, even the smallest deviation can affect fuel economy, tyre wear, handling and stability. Venhill – specialist manufacturer of high performance brake lines and control cables – has introduced two tyre pressure gauges to its range of motorcycle tools; one for regular applications and the other for low pressure tyres (e.g. trials and speedway).

Venhill pressure gauge

The VT32 gauge has a pressure range of 0-60psi (0 to 4 bar), ideal for most vehicles.

Its flexible stainless steel braided stem makes accessing the most awkward valves easier and the 90º, fully rotating chuck ensures a tight seal. The two-inch dial gauge indicates both psi and bar, in small increments for accurate reading. Below the dial is an air-bleed button to release excess air.

The VT37 gauge operates between 0-15psi. It’s more compact in design, but shares the flexible stainless stem, 360º chuck, gauge and bleed with the high-pressure version. Both gauges have a rubber sleeve impact protection around the dial and come in a tough nylon storage pouch. VT37 is £17.07, the low pressure VT37 is £19.08 inc VAT.
