Intercept a classic with the NMM summer raffle

THE NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM has sourced another gem as the first prize in its 2018 summer raffle. Museum Director James Hewing said: “For our summer 2018 raffle the museum’s own restoration team have carried out a complete rebuild on a 1969 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc Series II, which we are offering as an incredible first prize.”

The Interceptor has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration in the museum’s own workshops and is worth more than £12,000. Second prize in the raffle is a 1948 James ML 125cc and third prize is a luxury hotel break and dinner for two at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse in the Manor Hotel, Meriden. The winner of the winter raffle prize was Andrew Millard of Greater Manchester, who now owns a brand new 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster 1200. The raffle was drawn by ex-racer and Honda team manager Neil Tuxworth at the International Classic Motorcycle Show, Stafford. The draw for the raffle will take place on Saturday, October 27 at the National Motorcycle Museum LIVE event. Tickets cost £2 each via the museum on (01675) 444123 or online at www.thenmm.co.uk
