Dave Flintoft Engineering has developed and manufactured a new pressure plate from H15 high strength aluminium, incorporating eight equally spaced springs. It’s 6.5mm thick (tough when compared to the 2mm tin original) and reduces lost pressure due to flexing. The eight spring conversion produces 30% extra surface pressure. It comes complete with aluminium pressure plate, aluminium outer cover, cups, springs and screws. Fitting is as normal Bantam procedure with no other modifications required.
