Race stars at Telford

The ‘Morecombe Missile’ John McGuiness is the Show’s star guest. 19 times a TT winner, McGuinness isn’t just hot stuff on the tarmac. He regularly rides on the dirt to keep fit in the winter and is keen to look around the off-road side of the Show. On the sidecar front, 2003 world champion Steve Abbott hopes to bring along the outfit he rode in the 1986 GP, whilst the legendary Sammy Miller will bring the Rennsport-engined 1954 solo BMW which German legend Walter Zeller rode to the runner-up position in the 1956 500 world series. Sammy Miller promises to fire up the BMW beast at 11am each day and will also be bringing the legendary 1957 500 V8 Guzzi which will run in all its glory each afternoon.

It all takes place at the International Centre, Telford,TF3 4JH, on 9 and 10 February 2013, from 10am each day.
