THE CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE calendar is dominated by two events, the equinoxes which are Stafford in April and Stafford in October.
There are other fine shows, of course, but these two events seem to define the enthusiasts’ year – with the October show more or less marking the end of the riding season, and the beginning of the scraped knuckle season as rebuilds kick off in workshops up and down the country.
