This incredible figure is only part of the story as over and above this are the star riders who will be parading their genuine works machines within the Past Masters feature on Sunday. The past masters’ sessions will have multiple themes including Suzuki RG500/GP and, in conjunction with Ducati UK, a Ducati World Superbike feature plus dozens of others to make up the greatest grid of motorcycle racing stars ever assembled.

Present will be household stars such as Kevin Schwantz, John Cooper, Marco Lucchinelli, Frankie Chili, Dave Croxford, Carl Fogarty, Mick Grant, Neil Hodgson, Tepi Lansivuori, Randy Mamola, Sammy Miller (Guzzi V8), Trevor Nation, Phil Read, Jim Redman, Terry Rymer, Christian Sarron, Ian Simpson, Paul Smart, Malc Wheeler and more, plus the largest gathering of genuine ex-works Suzuki RG500s ever assembled in the modern era.

It all starts on Friday night followed by track sessions, pre-65 trial, then on Sunday there’s the grass track, demo sprint during lunchtime, plus avenue of 54 clubs, trade and jumble area with more than 100 stalls (Call Morvis events on 07545 160353).

Friday and Saturday nights will see Chaser covering all your classic rock favourites in the ‘Big Top’ and there’ll be the Paul Hanks Streetbike Freestyle Stunt show on Stebbe Straight.

Also Friday night will join the traditional Saturday evening slot for an extra Stars on Stage interview feature with some of the greats such as Schwantz, Wheeler, Mamola, Fogarty, Chili etc. and to round off Saturday evening a firework display.
