Triton Memorial Award

Of the bikes on the Triton Owners Club stand, Ray Brown – a close friend of Cliff’s – judged Dave Codd’s to be the recipient of the glass trophy. It was presented on the day by Emma Airey, of RH Insurance.

Dave’s bike is a 1959 registered Wideline Featherbed with a 750cc Morgo conversion, nine stud head, twin Amal Mk1 concentrics and electronic ignition. Both wheels are Borrani 18in flanged alloy rims and the front brake is tls Commando. Manx alloy sprint tank and matching central oil tank. Handmade swept backs and meggas. Dave has had it for some three years, the engine and gearbox receiving a complete rebuild last year.
